This Will Drive Vault Keeper All Excited
Risus Monkey has just posted this truly awesome document of rule-clarifications and house-rules to the original Dungeons & Dragons game, written back in 1977. I've read through it, and it's amazing!

Platemail, Way Better than a Chainmail Clone
![]() |
Adventurers in Platemail Taste Even Better |
This evening, a guy at the Old School Renaissance Italia forum pointed me in the direction of this outstanding work named Platemail. It's not exactly a clone of Chainmail, but more of a greatly expanded edition with tons of house rules from the 70's, definitely leaning towards roleplaying instead of wargaming. So, if you are part of that small niche of original gamers who play the Original Edition with Chainmail, you mustn't miss it! Nor if you are just curious about what lies in its many pages. The "corebook" is here, while the Magic supplement is there. Have fun!
